This favorites posts are always my favorite (lol) to watch/read. I will attempt at making my very first one.
BARE MINERALS I.D in Clear Radiance : This is probably one of the first makeup products I ever bought. It is a light pink, slightly light reflecting powder. I use it to set my concealer, under my eyes. Works like a charm. I think it is a pretty good dupe for Benefit's powderflage.
BENEFIT High Beam : This month, I have been loving dewy looking skin and higher cheekbones. So my highlighter has been my best friend. This ones gives a nice sheen but doesn't look greasy. I apply it on the top of my cheekbone and on my browbone. It has a good staying power. Plus the bottle never seems to be emptying :)
CHANEL Soleil de Tan : Love this bronzer! It's a really cool mousse-y consistency, very minimal shimmer and the golden color never looks muddy. The only downside is that my brushes shed a lot with it.
MAC Patina e/s : Great color. Slightly golden, very wearable, looks great with blue eyes. Its one of those slap on and go types of eye shadows.
ELF Corrective Concealer : Just made a review on it. Very creamy , very cheap and corrects well.
YSL Faux Cils : I have to admit, when I first got this I didn't like it at all. It was too wet and clumped my lashes. But after having left it to "age" a bit, it does wonders! Lengthens, volumizes and separates perfectly!
NARS Smudge Proof Eyeshadow Base: I got this because my UDPP and my Painterly Paintpot TOGETHER weren't enough anymore for my oily eyelids, 2 hours through the day and my eyeshadow was completely creased. I had heard that this primer was really good if you eyelids were very greasy (like mine) and decided to give it a try. I don't regret it a bit. My eyeshadow finally stays put throughout the whole day. It is a bit pricey but sooo worth it!
I also forgot to mention lip balms, as my lips have been pretty dry, and my Planter's moisturizer that I reviewed.
My fashion favorites : big cashmere sweaters and rocker/army booties.
Music favorites: Miike Snow that I went to see in concert 2 days ago! It was amazing! :)
How about you, what have you been loving this month?
Hope you had a nice November. I'm super excited for December as it is Christmas and I get a two weeks break.
xoxo

Hauntingly beautiful
I found this picture in one of my magazines last month and it has been haunting me since.
I had forgotten in what magazine I had seen it, and was desperately and aimlessly going through my mountains of magazines, one by one, in search of this picture.
HALLELUJAH! I found it this morning, while rereading an article in my Marie Claire
.
I am completely possessed with this makeup.
It's like a no makeup look taken up a notch. Her skin looks glowing and healthy and her eyes seem to twinkle! I ADORE IT!
This just might become my everyday look!

New Holy Grail?!
I think this moisturizer made it's way to Holy Grail status!
Before I rave I do have to warn you guys, this is a french product. I do not know if you can get it outside of France. I haven't seen it in the US but I think you can get it online.
PLANTER'S Crème Réparatrice is a moisturizer made with Aloe Vera and is very much organique. It is very thick and moisturizing. Now, I can hear all you oily-skinned screaming and running away, but DONT! I have normal to oily skin and this works amazingly well for me. I use it only at night though because it is so thick, but it does wonders whether my is dry-ish and irritated or a complete grease ball. I don't know how it does it but its great.
It is marketed to be for all skin types, useful throughout the whole year. It says it will protect and regenerate your skin.
I have to say, it does do all that.
I discovered this while I was in Greece. My skin started drying out terribly. Salt water was a disaster! It made my face tight like nothing else, I could hardly talk. So I dug this cream out of my toiletries and two days later, the irritation and dryness was almost completely gone. I haven't stopped using it since, and don't regret a minute of it.
I think this retails for about 12euros (= 16$) for a 150ml tube which lasts forever. To me this was 100% worth my money and I will definitely repurchase, over and over again.

ELF Corrective Concealer
I have been using this concealer for about 1 month, and I have to say, I quite like it.
It has 4 colors:
-two skin colored, one VERY slightly darker than the other
-a green one, to counteract redness
-a pink one to brighten.
I started using this to replace my YSL Touche Eclat (undereye) because i found it started to look a bit grey.
Now on to the pros and cons cause lets face it, what better way to see if a product is good or bad.
PROS:
-VERY creamy
-Corrects well
-Nice packaging ( good big mirror)
-Cheap
CONS:
-The skin color concealers are very similar and are not compatible with many skin tones. It would probably be too dark for very light skin tones and too light for darker skin tones.
- Creases the tiniest bit under the eyes.
-Uses up pretty quickly.
Overall, I do like this concealer very much. The coverage is perfect for my dark circles. I put the peachy colored one under my eyes and the pink one on the darkest part. I have to warn you though, I don't have crazy dark circles, so the coverage might not be enough for you. And the color selection is VERY limited and not extremely universal. But if you have light-medium skin and don't need to much coverage, I recommend trying this. It is only 3$ so don't be afraid to give it a shot.

Here we go....
Every beauty junkie has to go through this at one point in their live, so more than others. Although it is not always the most enjoyable process ever, it is necessary. It is a bit annoying to see all the limited things you want come and go without being able acquire them. On the bright side, I get to rediscover all my forgotten products and show them some love. You may have guessed it, I am starting....PROJECT 10 PANS.
After many remarks from pretty much everyone that my makeup collection was a bit to extensive, I decided to control myself and start enjoying what I already have. So I hope to see my little box fill up :)
There is no better feeling than hitting pan on something. So satisfying.
